Seasoned hip hop group Jedi Mind Tricks, comprised of rapper Vinnie Paz and producer Stoupe the Enemy of Mankind, dropped critically-acclaimed The Thief and the Fallen in 2015. Paz has been hard at work on his third solo LP, The Cornerstone of the Corner Store slated for an Oct. 28, 2016 release (pre-order it now from Amazon or via Merchdirect). The first single “The Void,” was released on Sept. 12, 2016.

Legendary producer Buckwild handles production, delivering a boom bap banger that will send you to the chiropractor. R&B/hip hop singer Eamon returns to collaborate with Vinnie, singing a soulful hook. Eamon appeared on both “Fraudulent Cloth” and “And God Said to Cain” off of The Thief and the Fallen. He also kicked it on “Luv to Fuk” and “Still Get Through the Day” from frequent Vinnie/Jedi Mind Tricks partner in rhyme R.A. the Rugged Man’s 2013 Legends Never Die.

Once again, Vinnie delivers his calm, mature, confident flow as exhibited on his previous full-length solo ventures, Season of the Assassin and God of the Serengeti. If “The Void” is any taste of what’s in store on The Cornerstone of the Corner Store, hip hop heads are in luck. Check out the new video, and stay tuned for the album release on Oct. 28!
